Summary of Position:

We are looking for a Program Assistant to join our creative and dedicated team, to help us with workforce-specific projects and the implementation of the BC First Nations Forestry Workforce Strategy. We are in need of a dedicated and ambitious individual who will provide a wide variety of office management and support functions, including, filing, gathering and computing various data, preparation of reports and correspondence, communicating with a wide range of internal and external contacts, and organizing meetings, conferences and other activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate (Or equivalent)
  • Certificate/diploma/degree in office/business administration an asset
  • Intermediate level of experience with productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable using business software systems, such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organized and able to create an organized system to work within, prioritizing work tasks and deliverables within set deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and duties simultaneously.
  • Good team player with great interpersonal attributes and high level of communication skills.

 

COMMITMENT 

  • This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday/7.5 Hours per day)

 

SALARY RANGE

  • $17-20 per hour
