Summary of Position:

The BC First Nations Forestry Council is searching for a self- motivated, creative and resourceful event coordinator. You will assist our team in delivering unforgettable events that generate excitement, engage our clients and build relationships to aid us in promoting our services. The ideal candidate for this role should have superior organizational skills, be a great team player, and have excellent multi-tasking skills.

 

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate (Or equivalent);

• Certificate/diploma/degree in event management an asset

• Track registration status and manage related commitments;

• Assist with the development and assembly of onsite and virtual event materials and support documents;

• Manage shipping process for all events; liaising with vendors to ensure timelines are met;

• Assist in overseeing logistical, room and function details for each event;

• Assist in post-event evaluations and reporting to determine how future events could be improved;

• Provide support in content development; researching relevant event topics and acquiring featured speakers (internal and external);

• Provide presentation development support to speakers and stakeholders;

 

Commitment

• This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday/7.5 Hours per day)

 

Salary Range

• $21 per hour
