Held on Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc territory, this two-day Forum will include opportunities for First Nations and Indigenous forestry businesses to engage on key forest sector policies. Day 1 will be focused on Forest Sector Transformation, including the sessions on the New Fiscal Framework and forestry revenue sharing and tenure. Day 2 will focus on Forest Stewardship and include sessions on cultural and prescribed fire, forest landscape planning and the old growth strategic review.

Key technical staff from the Ministry of Forests will also be available for pre-booked 1:1 meetings with First Nations during the 2-day Forum (November 22-23rd). This is intended to provide opportunity to address any specific technical-level interests or questions outside plenary sessions.

TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT/COSTS
We will be providing a one-time travel contribution to each Nation attending as follows:
- $400 for Nations who are in the Thompson/Cariboo/Okanagan Regions
- $700 for more distant travel
- Potential additional funds for Nations with complex travel
